Does my child need speech/language therapy?
If you have a concern with your child’s speech and language development, you’re in the right place! All kids develop at their own pace, but American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) has created milestones to assess where your child is in their development.

When to book an evaluation:
Your child is not meeting the ASHA milestones
Your child is becoming frustrated or self-conscious due to being misunderstood
Your child is demonstrating negative behaviors due to lack of ability to communicate
A pediatrician, teacher, caregiver, or other professional has expressed concern
How long and how frequent are the sessions?
Therapy is always tailored to the unique needs of the child. We typically recommend 30-minute, 45-minute, or 1 hour sessions. Sessions are typically 1-3x per week. The recommended duration and frequency will depend on your child’s individualized treatment plan.
How long will my child be in therapy?
Unfortunately, there is no predetermined time limit. The duration varies significantly from client to client. Therapy can last as short as a few weeks or as long as several years. Following an evaluation, the SLP may be able to provide an estimated timeline.
What is your cancellation policy?
Talk is Sweet requires a 24-hour notice for appointment cancellations or rescheduling. This allows us to accommodate other families in need of our services. Missed appointments or late cancellations may be subject to a fee. Your understanding and adherence to our policy help ensure that we can provide the best care for all our patients
Do you accept insurance?
We do not accept insurance at this time. Unfortunately, communicating with insurance can be time consuming. It takes away valuable treatment time and takes away the ability for the therapist participating in continuing education courses.

We DO accept cash, ALL credit cards, and health savings account cards (HSA).
